Our Staff

All of our staff are carefully selected to ensure they have the right skills and values.  Prior to starting work, we confirm each staff members’ identity, obtain two written references from previous employers and complete an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to make sure they are safe to work with you.

Our staff complete a comprehensive Induction Training Programme which is aligned to the Care Certificate Standards. Only upon successful completion of this, they will commence work in the community and will have their practice observed by our Supervisor Team. Our care staff will be in uniform and carry a personalised identification card which shows their name and photograph.

We actively encourage continual professional development by making available other training courses. Many of our staff have or are working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Health and Social Care (i.e. NVQ2/3 or Diploma in Health and Social Care). The care team consists of full and part-time staff. It is not usual to have just one care worker to support you. However, we work hard to provide you with a consistent team of regular care workers and try to keep the number of different staff to a minimum. You will get to know them very quickly and they will soon learn your care routine. You can be assured that your care is in the very best of hands.
